Comments: Hi, I am Susan Travis' sister-I actually met you at the CLub in Tiburon before your trip. Sure enjoyed your website-an inspiration for me as we are preparing for a mid March launch from San Diego. Just wondering what you used to create your website. This will be a first for me and I'm hoping to find an easy program. Any info, please forward to me. Wondering if you are sailing again….your entries have helped me become more familiar with the trip. I hope this finds you both well and enjoying the new year!

Comments: Hi, my name is Kevin, 24, belgian traveller. I'm trying to get to Indonesia by sea, as I'm doing a flight-free trip. I care about our planet and as flying creates a lot of pollution, I decided to adapt my trip to make our world better! As you participated to the "sail indonesia" race in 2012 I thought you might have advices for me about how to join a crew or to get to know who's planning to sail there. I would like to find a boat ride to Indonesia or Malaysia from Darwin (or Cairns, wherever) by the end of october. I'm ready to work for free, volunteer, do anything before, during or after the trip, I'm quite flexible. Thanks in advance for any information you can give me, and for the time taken to read my message! This trip means a lot to me. Safe sailing! Kevin my e-mail adress: Kevsk8_8@hotmail.com

Tell Kim if he is too bashful to post any photos of: "The Captain also enjoyed the evidence that we are no longer in a Moslem country as the topless sun bathers lounged just in front of us." he should just email them directly to me so his memory card is not too top heavy! lol

Comments: Kim and Sharon, Happy New Year to you both. It's been forever since I've seen you or been in touch, but I was talking with Marie the other day and she reminded me that I could get in touch with you via your blog, so here I am. I love reading about your cruising life (even the land-locked parts of it!) because it is still a dream of mine and I've been so impressed with how you two have gone about it. I still love living in my little corner of the mountains and yet, sailing is still in my blood, so at some point in the not too distant future, I'm going to expand my life a bit to put a bit more sailing back into it. I was lucky enough to spend some time in Thailand many years ago, so reading about your time there has brought back a lot of memories for me and put a big 'ole smile on my face. Well, I"m off to bed to be able to greet the Monday morning work day with enthusiasm, so I'll sign off now. Thanks for bringing the joy of adventure into my life vicariously! Much love, Jennifer

Comments: Mr Obama visited downtown Boone yesterday. Sorry you missed. Things must be difficult in DC. The last Pres.to visit was Clinton during the Monica no sex episode. This must be remote as possible. See you soon.
